Stop and frisk (Terry stop) is based on reasonable suspicion and is completely constitutional under the landmark 8 to 1 SCOTUS decision Terry v. Ohio, 392 U.S. 1 (1968). Also reference unanimous SCOTUS decision Arizona v. Johnson, 555 U.S. 323 (2009).

SUICIDE - Law Enforcement's Silent Killer. PTSD related suicides by officers are clearly on the rise and the anecdotal research indicates that officer suicides outnumber officers killed in the line of duty by 3 to 1. That means that officers are 3 times more likely to be killed by their own hand than by a criminal suspect.
The Thin Blue Line is a symbol used by law enforcement, originating in the United Kingdom but now prevalent in the United States and Canada to commemorate fallen law enforcement officers and to symbolize the relationship of law enforcement in the community as the protectors of fellow civilians from criminal elements. It is an analogy to the term Thin Red Line.

The proposed budget for the city’s fire department is $49 million, increasing $2 million from the city’s 2016 budget. Next year, money will be used to build the new fire station set to open near the future Gaylord Rockies Hotel and Conference Center in the Denver International Airport area. The city is also looking to add five full-time firefighters for the new Gaylord station, and 20 new more full-time firefighters with new fire equipment citywide. Read More...
